Stefanie and Scott wanted a little bit of the country and a little bit of the city for their engagement shoot, so that is exactly what we did. We started in a field near Weddington, NC and got some really fun photos. You can see how much they really care about one another! And then as luck would have it, we came across a fire truck in a parking lot! JACKPOT! How could we NOT snag a few photos with that?!? Then we headed into uptown Charlotte for the rest of their shoot. It was wickedly humid that night, but Stefanie and Scott were such troopers! We didn’t wrap our shoot until nearly 10pm! I had a really great time, and I appreciate the fact that you guys let me keep you out that late! You know photographers, we will just keep shooting and shooting and shooting and shooting….. :) Enjoy the photos!

Hattie and Ellis are about the cutest kids ever! I could completely tell that Hattie L-O-V-E-S being a big sister. She wanted to help her little sister out with everything! And she was full of good ideas as well. She chose the white slip for some of the photos, and I think it was a really great choice! I hope you enjoy these!

I met up with these guys in downtown Fort Mill a couple weeks ago. They will be married this fall, and they are truly the cutest couple ever! Congratulations you guys!

Sam was a brave sole and volunteered to let a pack of hungry photographers photograph her and her sweet little man Jackson! She was a natural in front of the camera, and she did an awesome job. And even though it was pretty warm outside, Jackson was such a trooper. Enjoy!

My goal for this shoot was to work on my off camera lighting technique. I think I definitely got some great shots. My favorite photo of all is the first one of Charlotte in front of the train. We were standing on the corner about a half block away when we heard the horn for the approaching train. We looked at each other and took off running for the tracks! We got there just in time, and caught a few beautiful images. I had such t a blast with these girls and they all did such a great job!
